You have arrived in Seoul, but your room is not ready. Or you have checked out and still have a few hours before your train. Leaving your suitcase somewhere convenient can make that gap much easier. The useful question is not just “Where can I leave it?” but “Can I collect it comfortably before I need to leave?”

Start with your route, not the nearest empty locker
Ask your accommodation whether it can hold your bags before check-in or after check-out, and confirm any fee and collection deadline. If that would send you across the city twice, consider storage near the station you will actually use later. Treat storage as part of your return journey rather than a separate errand.
A station locker or T-Luggage?
A station locker is a self-service option. The Korea Tourism Organization notes that sizes, charges, storage periods and payment methods vary. Read the instructions on the specific machine: a payment method accepted at one locker is not a guarantee for the next one.
T-Luggage offers staffed luggage storage and delivery services. Seoul’s official guide lists branches including Seoul Station, Hongik Univ., Myeong-dong and Gimpo Int’l Airport stations. Check the current branch details on the operator’s website before making a detour. Do not confuse this with T-Storage, which is intended for longer-term storage.
Check these details before paying
Fit: measure your suitcase including wheels and handles, and compare it with the actual locker opening. “Large suitcase” is not a standardized locker size. Do not force a bag inside.
Time and cost: check the initial charging period, extra charges, overnight rules and the last possible collection time. A station locker should not be assumed to be accessible 24 hours a day. Ask what happens if your return is delayed.
Access: note the station, line, floor, exit and locker number. Save a photo of the location and your receipt or reservation details privately. Keep any unlock code away from public posts.
Keep the things you cannot travel without
Keep your passport, wallet, phone, essential medication and other valuables with you. Check the provider’s prohibited-item rules before handing over a bag: T-Luggage’s terms include restrictions on valuables, fragile items and electronics. Do not assume every item in a suitcase is accepted or fully covered if something goes wrong.
For delivery rather than storage, confirm the drop-off cutoff, collection point and promised delivery window separately. A storage reservation does not automatically arrange an airport transfer for your bag. Leave a practical buffer before your train or flight.
A simple plan for your last day
Choose a storage point on your onward route, confirm the collection deadline, and set a reminder before you start sightseeing. If the locker is full, use your backup rather than spending your departure buffer searching station after station. Availability is something to verify, not something this guide can promise.
