Dancing with the Stars has moved its Disney Night episode to Monday, November 2, giving viewers a one-week change to their usual Tuesday routine. ABC’s November 3 midterm-election coverage is the reason for the switch, according to TV Insider. There is no new DWTS episode in that Tuesday slot.
When and where to watch
ABC lists the November 2 broadcast for 8–10 p.m. Eastern and Pacific, and 7–9 p.m. Central, on ABC and Disney+ in local time zones. Hulu carries the episode the following day. Viewers should check their local listing rather than assume that every time zone receives the same live feed.
What Disney Night has planned
The announced theme brings Disney’s stage musicals into the ballroom, with Cynthia Erivo joining as guest judge and eight couples on the bill. Among the planned performances, Tatyana Ali and Jan Ravnik dance to music from Aida with Heather Headley singing live, while Jenna Dewan and Val Chmerkovskiy take on Beauty and the Beast with Rodney Ingram.
Team routines are also returning. Hosts Alfonso Ribeiro and Julianne Hough join separate groups for numbers drawn from Zootopia 2 and High School Musical, adding an ensemble round alongside the couples’ individual dances.
Check the voting window
The voting window needs particular attention: ABC says voting opens during the live Eastern/Central broadcast. Eligible viewers across U.S. time zones, U.S. territories and Canada can vote online during that window; Canadian viewers cannot use the U.S. SMS option. A later local airing does not mean a later voting period.
The schedule then returns to Tuesdays, TV Insider reports, with Grammy Night on November 10, the semifinals on November 17 and the finale on November 24. Those dates make this a temporary change rather than a permanent move. This guide covers the announced schedule and performances, not scores or elimination results from the November 2 broadcast.
