Toronto led at halftime in Denver, but the game changed after the break. The Nuggets beat the Raptors 128–109 on Wednesday, November 4, at Ball Arena. The NBA’s official game page records the completed result.

The third quarter explains the turnaround

Denver outscored Toronto 41–15 in the third quarter. Nikola Jokić finished with 32 points, 11 assists and 10 rebounds, according to the Reuters game report. He had reached his triple-double before the fourth quarter and did not need to play the final period.

A triple-double means reaching double figures in three statistical categories. Here, the rebounds and assists matter alongside the scoring: they show why looking only at the points column misses part of Jokić’s contribution.
